Modern - Improvisational Quilt: Temple of Qorikanacha. Machine pieced. The quilt is designed using Notan inspired blocks along with half rectangle triangle blocks in solid colours. Qorikancha - Temple of the Sun, located in the heart of Cusco, was the most sacred sanctuary of the Incan Empire, originally constructed with curved stones adorned with gold. This temple symbolized the Incas' connection with the Sun and ceremonies. H 190 x W 190 cm.
